Oh mate, the pastries at Country Cafe & Playground were a game-changer! Plus, the private pool was a dream for post-exploration cooldowns. The Beautiful Double Studio? Seriously cozy, with everything you need right on hand!
Would've loved to stay longer!

The Beautiful Double Studio was surprisingly comfortable, especially after bringing a mattress topper that worked wonders. The space felt quite homey for a solo traveler, and I appreciated having everything I needed right at my fingertips during the five-night stay.
Getting to the hotel was a bit of a challenge. The steep and narrow drive is not ideal for larger vehicles. Plus, the instant coffee situation was unfortunate. A plunger would have made the mornings much better, even if I figured out a workaround with my own supplies. A few bumps but nothing that killed the vibe.

A great option for a relaxing holiday in Whanganui with excellent value for money. The cozy furniture and vibes made it easy to unwind in the Beautiful Double Studio. Drive carefully on the steep access road. It can be tricky.

We absolutely loved our stay, especially how the well-equipped studio made us feel right at home, and the private pool was perfect for a sunny afternoon swim! With a lovely sun terrace and a beautiful garden area to relax in, we felt utterly at peace. The only thing we missed was a better coffee option instead of just instant, but it didn't take away from our overall experience. 😊

great space , but coffee needs improvement
Maggie and Grant, along with Coco, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pool beside the studio offered a relaxing retreat with wonderful views of the surrounding garden. I appreciated the covered pergola by the poolside furniture, which significantly enhanced my experience during sunny afternoons.
The instant coffee situation was unfortunate.
